An ex-girlfriend "permanently borrowed" the 1988 Polygram CD release. So, I had to replace it. As for "SHM," I agree its probably a whole lot of hype..

Lets hope it doesn't have the mechanical '"whirling noise;" I'll report back after I listen to it. I just listened to the complete album, and the "SHM-CD" version —UCCU9457— does not have the "whirling noise."

In regards to the DSD Remaster CDs released in March by Universal, are the SHM-CD releases in May & June also DSD remastered??? thanks

Hi, I've just ordered the SHM version from Japan (UCCU-9457), to be released on the 28th of May. Lets hope it doesn't have the mechanical '"whirling noise;" I'll report back after I listen to it.
