I purchased a copy Jazz West Coast brand new when it was first issued. At that time was a young relatively new jazz fan, and took the book apart to hang some of the pages on my wall. Many years later, by coincidence I happened to be visiting my son in Chicago when I saw in the newspaper that there was an exhibit of William Claxton photos at a gallery. My wife and I attended the ehibit, and while there purchased the large book seen below.
