Yesterday I finished reading the Phil Woods autobiography :"Life In E Flat". Found it a most interesting read. Phil knew a brand range of jazz musicans and played with most of them at some time during his very lengthy career. Woods tells us many stories about many of them. He writes well and shares an insider look about the highs and lows of his life in the jazz world.
