I pulled out my vinyl copy of this album. There are liner notes which cover the entire back cover. medjuck, is there something in particular that you wanted to know, or should I photocopy the back cover in two pieces, and mail it to you? I could do that easily at my office. Please PM me. Reducing the back cover of a vinyl LP and scanning it into the computer is beyond my meager skills.

Not much James Newton mentioned on the earlier thread. I recommend his Paseo Del Mar, Hidden Voices (an Anthony Davis co-led date), Romance and Revolution.

Over time, she has sold a lot of jazz CDs.

I just thought that many of the members here would be very interested in what is for sale, including Black Saint/Soul Note LPs, Nessa LPs, Horo LPs (including Max Roach-The Loadstar), Sun Ra LPs on Saturn Records, and many more rare and great items.

I read a description of this album which made it sound quite interesting, and possibly something I would like. Has anyone heard Carrothers' music? I am not familiar with him.

Great idea! I used to get information about new music at Recycled Sounds in Kansas City, from Ann Winter, the owner. While the store was doing well financially, she closed it a few years ago. One of the reasons she gave to the newspaper reporter is that she was tired of listening to so much poor music, in her efforts to remain current. So I think that Allen's idea has real merit.
