i'd love to change my gravel to crushed coral but it would cost over $100 my gravel is the color in the tank above right now i have 3" - 4" of gravel on the bottom crushed coral = cichlids fav i'd like to get it set up like an African stream l need to get better lighting for tank

similar to my set up before oscars can cause probs in the tank if they are unhappy smashed a $30 water heater in the tank so i bought a new heater and used the 2 clips from the old one so the heater will not move they'll uproot any and all plants in the tank

i had oscars before and they get too big i really like baby oscars i'm going with African Cichlids max about 5" or 6" this time

every week i change out 10 gallons and my water looks real good i have an external cleaner w/ a sediment filter and a way to polish the water w/ activated carbon i started polishing the water yesterday i've had it going for a month now bought real plants, cheap 2 @ $2 each and 2 @ $4/5 each

i plan on purchasing a Fire Eel next month right now $50-$55 next month $25 -$30
