Forget about getting the Japanese Fuji audio discs from Best Buy online. My package arrived today and the spindle was made in Taiwan. I think the Japanese made discs from Fuji are soon to be a thing of the past.

If you only buy one live Jimi show, this is the one to get! The first show on that day is great too. If I remember correctly, the first show is longer and runs over 80 minutes. Either it will have to be put on 2 discs, or some editing will be necessary. Adding the soundcheck would be a nice filler. This would make a great Dagger Records release.

I have had a Harman/Kardon CDR20 burner for about 1 1/2 years. It just died about a month ago. Actually, the only problem with it is I can now hear some static on my analog copies. I've had trouble in the past with the cheap Maxell discs. The discs that always worked well for me were the Japanese Memorex and the Japanese Fuji discs. From what I've heard, and what I'm starting to see, a lot of the Fuji discs are now made in Taiwan. Look before you buy. I have been getting the Japanese Fuji Audio discs - 50 Pack - on line from Best Buy. The shipping is free and the cost is about $22 for the pack. Stefan. What happened with your cdr20?

Call me crazy but I sold my copy of the MFSL disc after I picked up the JRVG version a few years ago. To me, the MFSL version is really lacking in detail. After hearing the JRVG, I realized that there was a lot more on the tape than I had ever heard before.
