It hardly deserves to be called a Jazz Festival, IMO.

There are many fine sessions on Arbors. This is one of my favorites. Very fine recording.

Thanks for drawing this to our attention. I will listen to the track shortly. Actually Eric has recorded in a trio context before. I just listened to this one yesterday. It is excellent. I don't know whether or not High Note has dropped him. Perhaps. I'm a big fan but I think Eric went to the well a little too often with the quartet format on High Note. Generally the same personnel. Probably should have changed it up a bit. But that can also be a producer's decision, I guess.
