count me in as well. I haven't yet signed in, but I will shortly. Thanks for the efforts SS1 and Vaj.
-
I don't know if they released this one in the States. Japanese only.
-
Four people tied this week.
Van B has the overall lead, but everyone is close. Big comeback by SS1, who has pulled himself within striking distance.

SS1 won this week's pool.
Van B is now the overall leader, but it's close.

Moose is off to a terrific start.

"conning?"
Did you forget to capitalize this?
-
I'm cool with it too. Good competitive week.

Nice to see you back, SS1. It was you who originated the idea of the pool back in 2005.
-
May the best man/woman win!
How'd you know I had a sex change??
I was...uh...hoping to attract some of our distaff members to the pool.
-
Ever the historian, I want to post all the winners of this pool in the past:
2010 Agg
2009 Vaj
2008 Conn
2007 Noj
2006 Edward
2005 Conn
May the best man/woman win! Who wants the poolpicker's Lombardi?

I'm here, guys! Better...er...late than never!
I'll try and post weekly results. Don't forget about thursday's game. I'll get my picks in by tomorrow. Have to head off to work now.
-
Chuck's is the word of God!
-
Hey, they sent my email confirmation to Free by accident! hehe! Haven't received my email confirmation yet. I'm spending mine on chess books.
-
I don't think Agg needs a fathead. He was born with one already.
It's likely to be fatter than before too, now that his wife won the pool.
-
Nice gesture by SS1.
Agg, I too would like to offer something as poll winner. Please tell me which NE Patriot memorabilia you would most prefer. I've got hats, and refrigerator magnets. Perhaps you would prefer a large poster of Bill Belichick? I am sure you will find these items as suitable given that the Patriots have dominated this football season!
(hehe)

And it is fitting that Aggie would win the pool as he has been a pool regular for several years now. Maybe it's like being in the NFL, which is hard for rookies, but after two or three years, the new player becomes a star.
Or maybe marriage is good for NFL picking, or maybe Kim was really doing the picking all along. I incline towards the latter theory.
-
Looks like I finished one win behind Agg. I go back to that thursday game which I had picked correctly and entered but had not apparently saved. Grrr! Hope you did one of those two, Erik to make me feel better.
Congratulations! At least it was close. One frigging game.

Sadly, I will have to withdraw from the weekly pool. This is now the second week in a row that I have made picks but apparently forgot to check the save picks box. I apparently cannot handle the software, as I'm old and stupid. Good luck to everyone.
-
Hey! WTF! I made picks a couple days ago but must have not saved them. I had picked Philly.
Now I know what others have gone through when they said they had made picks.

Don't credit me for it, folks. I have to be responsible for my own mistakes.

Rolf, I just discovered this thread...wow! I am so sorry to read of your loss. I spent my final clinical last year on an oncology floor and found the courage and fight exhibited by many cancer patients as truly inspiring. Somehow, it seems as if such a horrible blow, such as being declared terminally ill elicited all the best human qualities. I will never forget my time spend on that floor. I'll never forget the thick and dry skin caused by all the irradiation; I'll never forget the smiles through the pain. I can very much imagine the bravery of your wife. My heart goes out entirely to you. Paul

I vote to give you credit for the pick.

I'll report the standings each week.
My picks are in (subject to last minute revision, of course!)
