She's great. The duo with Weasel Walter is very much worth checking out. And yes, CM, the Braxton/Morris duo is something really special. I haven't listened to a ton of Morris' records but the ones I've heard, I've thought were good. Regardless, in this setting he is very, very open and their give-and-take is surprisingly subtle. The first and fourth discs really set my hair on end. If you really want my opinion, you'll have to check out Paris Transatlantic in late August. I'm looking forward to it.

I'll add that I laid this out in great detail in a thread that was hidden by moving it into the political forum a few weeks back. I don't know why Allen and Dan have to keep dragging me into it. .

Yeah Dan, quote his private email out of context. You were getting incredibly hostile towards people in the Baseball steroid thread, I called you on it so you started attacking me. When that doesn't work you start playing the innocent victim. It's the same old shit over and over again. Not a crime, but let's be honest. Keeping up with the latest in pop music is hardly something to be proud of. I'd put it in the category of keeping up with the latest sports news or your favorite soap opera. What I mean is, if you enjoy it, great; everyone has their hobbies and trivial interests. But don't expect everyone to agree that the latest and greatest pop star is of worldshaking importance... Damn it, Clem; get back here...I'm not obnoxious enough to make these points! What makes you think that I give a fuck about what's going on in the popular music world? Just because Clem thinks I do, doesn't mean that I care...

I would like to offer an apology to certain specific people for certain transgressions I am guilty of. I am going through a number of extremely stressful, painful and difficult things in my life and I have come to realize that frustrations with those problems have found an outlet in un-called for displays of anger. Goodspeak, Jazzmoose and a few others are the people to whom I offer this apology and who I hope will accept it. However, there are some people who are just contemptible assholes to whom I have no hesitation to say the following: 7/4 and Allen Lowe: EAT SHIT AND DIE. I didn't write that article but I'll apologize for Dan and Clem while I'm writing about it. Some are sicker than others...
