I went to see them in their heyday, someone else paid for the ticket. I survived by digging the timbre of the synths. Analog heaven!

Where about do you live? Here in South Carolina there are millions this year. When they all start singing at one time it is one long sound throughout the day.

I don't know if I can wait that long. Fortunately I just received a nice shippment yesterday from CD Universe that I'm checking out this weekend. That should keep me happy for a week or so.
Eric Dolphy, indeed. Hearing him on Coltrane's Village Vanguard recordings was my introduction to the instrument (as well as Dolphy himself). I love the sound he gets out of that thing... Nothing else quite like it. Have you heard his solo rendition of "God Bless The Child"?
