  7. Ralph Burns was member of the early Woody Herman Band (see Capitol). Very well known is his composition "Summer Sequence" in 4 parts. Also co-writer of the famous composition "Early Autumn" featuring Stan Getz in Woodys band. This "Jazz Studio" series Vol 1 to 5 is a very fine series and highly recommended from my side. Have 3 Volumes.

  11. An interesting West Coast album listed with main artist - Dodo Marmarosa - Lorraine Geller but is in fact a Shorty Rogers Item recorded 1953 & 1953 at the Lighthouse. Item was produced and issued in Japan only on the Vantage label (Bob Andrews licensed).
