  5. I took my eight-year-old daughter (who has also seen all three "Lord of the Rings" films, all three "Spider-Man" films, all three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films (her current obsession. She has declared that she wants to captain a Clipper Ship when she grows up) and the Indiana Jones films) and she absolutely LOVED it. The scene in question shows Tony Stark in a (very brief) clinch with a female reporter early in the film. They kiss passionately and then fall off of the bed. The next morning, the reporter is shown alone in bed (she is naked, but is laying on her stomach and strategically covered by a sheet). I don't think it's any worse than what you'd see in a sixties Bond film. take your 8 year old to see nim's island - she will love it!
  6. took my 8 and 10 year old boys to see the film. no problem and they loved it!

  9. I've been trying hard to get them to realize that classifying 4 of the 5 (excluding "Smithville") as imports is in fact incorrect. Got an email from them this morning that they have lowered the price of "Head On", and are currently reviewing the others. I have a feeling that they will come to see things "our" way. When they do, just give them a call on their toll free number (1-800-231-7937) and they will either credit you or refund the price difference. I think that they have a price protection policy for 2 weeks or so from shipping date. tried to call and get them to figure it out - no luck. oh well at least the music is good!
  10. well cd universe just emailed me that the new ones were shipped - no price change though.

  13. from fox news: New postage stamp honoring Frank Sinatra to go on sale Wednesday, May 07, 2008 WASHINGTON — A new stamp honoring Frank Sinatra goes on sale next week. First-day-of-sale ceremonies for the 42-cent stamp will be held Tuesday at three locations familiar to the famed singer and actor. The price of a first-class stamp goes up a penny to 42 cents on Monday. The first ceremony for the performer often known as the "Chairman of the Board" will be hosted by the post office's own chairman of the board of governors, Alan Kessler. "Frank Sinatra was our nation's first modern entertainment superstar," Kessler said in a statement. "He had looks and charm, talent and skill, creativity, tenacity and style." Joining Kessler at the 10 a.m. EDT ceremony at Gotham Hall in New York will be Sinatra's daughter Nancy and son, Frank Sinatra Jr., as well as Rep. Jose E. Serrano, D-N.Y. Serrano has said he learned English by listening to Sinatra records. Two other ceremonies will be held at 3 p.m. EDT. In Las Vegas, Tina Sinatra, another daughter, will join Postal Service governor James Bilbray in dedicating the stamp at the Bellagio fountain's main alcove on Las Vegas Boulevard. And Frank Sinatra Jr. will join Rep. Albio Sires, D-N.J., in a ceremony in Hoboken, N.J., Sinatra's hometown. The event will take place at Pier A Park at 1st Street and Frank Sinatra Drive.
