Still there, currently busy watching all the Olympic boxing fights, hope we are more than three to participate, we were fortunate that it was really close throughout the season.

I think that was probably the thing that drove me away from Olympic coverage. All the coverage slanted to the USA, the obsession with medal counts over individual effort. And, at the risk of having Berigan bring up terms like "hate America crowd", that obnoxious "USA USA" chant drives me up the frickin' wall... Gotta say that's what gets my goose, broadcasts from other country tend towards ethnocentrism, fortunately my country is so crappy in sports they don't have other choice to show something else since we're always the first eliminated.

I enjoy watching sports, i'm happy to see more deserving athletes get their day in the sun because of the Olympics however i just don't care for the huge machinery behind it that is more about pleasing corporate entities than sport. Way too many non deserving sports are now part of it because they get ratings of are there because someone with a big wallet said so. I also find hypocritical to see people and media suddenly care about athletes and their performance while the rest of the time they compete anonymously with nobody bothering to report their results.

I like them both but i find it tough to put them together, besides the use of non jazz material, Simone had a more raw intense and emotional way of interpreting songs than Cassandra will ever acheive. Simone's way of singing is the equivalent of someone pulling your hair and putting fingers in your eyeballs to make sure you're listening to the singer while on the other end Wilson is very casually brushing your shoulder in an almost apologetic way and at the same time whispering in your ear very softly , you might find this song cool to listen to.
