They are in perfect hands hear. As good as it gets. Once saw a Japan cd reissue for sale (in the three numbers range). If they reissue this i am as fast as a hurricane.

I have that recording but in all honesty i have to say that prefer the 1948 recording because of it's beauty.

Almost sold this without giving it a try ... in my opinion NOT boring ... Schiff plays with a lot of passion and power ! Good synergy ... I don't know this recording but Bruckner's music and 'Böhm' are a perfect match. I recently heard his 7'th recording from he 40's ... it's so real ... and perfect. Also have to mention Eduard von Beinum (Philips) as idiomatic.
