I'm a former member of the old Blue Note board who's belatedly made it here. Glad to hear that there's a bio of this under-appreciated poet. He wrote a number of excellent poems, though he can be a dark glass of beer, and may put off some readers because of it. For those interested, I recommend trying out his poem "Travels in North America." Or try "A Good Chord on a Bad Piano."
