  19. Jose Urena, the Marlin pitcher, is tied for the league lead in hit batters, with 11. Last year, he tied for the league lead with 13. Looks as if opposing pitchers need to protect their teammates by going after him. I don't like to see something like that happen, but sometimes things need to be done. If the league won't protect players, their teammates might have to.
