I enjoyed the Air Lore album so much I pulled the next Air LP off the shelf. Whaddya know, another Nessa. Then I opened the Board and saw the above posts. Sometimes things just fall into place . Listening to Nessa n-12:
Love Bobby Timmons--don't know that one though (yet)
I think I've read somewhere or other that this is a rather hard to find Timmons album. I was hooked right away when I spotted it. It was released on a two-fer CD recently but I don't know o\if that is still available.
Hi Kevin, is this your first move into tubes? I love tubes and vinyl; they sound great together. A natural match.
Now listening to:
A witty, fun, and respectful mix of ragtime and free jazz.
I still don't buy Belichek's "let them score" strategy (if that's what it was). When was the last time you saw two teams deliberately trying not to score? WTF? Strikes me as unsportsmanlike, but coming from Belichek, that's not too surprising.

go to a CanJam, if you can. I tried about 100 in a day. Or one of the board members' "meetings", like this one: http://www.head-fi.o...y-11th-saturday
"complete" regional meet-up forum here: http://www.head-fi.o...s-get-togethers
Thanks, that's useful info.
All these doping scandals make me wonder what the sport would be like if it was completely clean. Could the cyclists even compete on the routes that have been set for them? Would times drop way off? Would the degree of difference be small, or so large as to reduce the sport to a nonentity in the world of athletics?
I have the NO FEAR album; posted it on this thread some time ago. Just a terrific album. Haven't been lucky enough to have picked up APPLICATION yet. Trevor Watts with John Stevens is a potent combination. I talked to Watts last year and he is still quite devoted to the memory of Stevens,
Having an old family recipe today: pasta in "pink sauce," which is simply a ricotta cheese-tomato sauce blend. Small chunks of beef that have been braised and then stewed in the tomato sauce rounds out the place. Add a nice red wine and you have a very tasty, and now that I think of it, a very sensual dish.
Could be right, Pinto was last made in 1980, and that beat-up specimen in the photo looks right for 1987. Looks like a Mercury in front of it, and a Pontiac or Olds behind it, but I'm not sure of the models.
Here are the the post-modernists that have engaged my interest: Morton Feldman (big time); Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Lygeti, Stockhausen, Earle Brown, Lutoslawski, Berio, Stravinsky (why not?) and yes, Boulez.
JSngrey and I got into a discussion of rappers and Eames chairs; now I have a Herman Miller chair ad whenever I open the site. I'm starting to feel the need to get one.
One suggestion is to open Organissimo on its own tab, and to open a new tab when you want to migrate to other sites.
Just curious to know how folks checked out their headphones before making the decision to purchase them. Let's say one wanted to check out Grado, Sennheiser and Beyer cans.
Not always easy to audition headphones. Local dealers? Equipment reviews? word of mouth? forums like this one, or ones dedicated to headphones?
