medjuck
Several items from the old ESP library have turned up in the i-Tunes music stores this morning. Anyone have any recommendations (or criticisms)? I'm especially interested in the Billie Holiday broadcasts. I love the ESP catalog but mostly the free dates (Grimes, Sonny Simmons, Ayler, Marion Brown, Ornette, Alan Silva, Sunny Murray, etc). Claude
Many ESP albums have also been available on Emusic.com, but I don't know if they still are. Despite the download limit introduced a year ago, the Emusic subscription service is still much cheaper than iTunes.
medjuck
I did belong to e-music for a while and got some of the ESP discs. (eg Spiritual Unity). The i-Tunes store seems to have even more ESP material.
randyhersom
They're still there on eMusic, and something of a bargain at per track pricing, assuming you like the style. The only jazz side I know to be missing is the Ran Blake. Edited June 1, 2004 by randyhersom
