Posted this in another thread, but Jim Gallert, co-author (with Lars Bjorn) of a very cool Detroit jazz history book called BEFORE MOTOWN, has joined the board as JamesJazz. Jim's a longtime Michigan jazz DJ & very cool guy (interviewed him & Lars for a two-part radio special a couple of years ago) who's also involved with a new website:

DetroitMusicHistory
