The last recording that I remember was the big band date he headed on Albert Marx's old Trend/Discovery label around 1984. His first name was Buddy. Thanks for any help. Posted September 9, 2004 Report Share Posted September 9, 2004 (edited) Buddy Childers also made recordings for Liberty in LA, with Herbie Steward (tenor saxophone), Bob Harrington (piano), Harry Babasin (bass) and Milt Holland (drums) on November 29 and December 6, 1955 (issued on the album Sam Songs, Liberty LJH-6009), and with Arnold Ross (piano), Harry Babasin (bass) and Boone Stines (drums) on March 21, 1956 (issued on the album Buddy Childers Quartet, Liberty LJH-6013). grey Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2004 JAW, One of Childers 1950s Liberty sessions was going to be released as a TOCJ about 2 years ago but it was cancelled.
