Dan Gould
Maybe its the Holidays getting me into a sentimental mood, but this guy was one of my favorites growing up (and probably as much as anyone inspired me to take up guitar) and as I was driving today I heard one of his biggest hits, "I Got a Name" and it just sent me down memory lane. He really was a very talented guy, taken way too soon.

B. Goren.
What a coincidence Dan. I was listening yesterday to this: Time In A Bottle If I could save time in a bottle The first thing that I'd like to do Is to save every day Till Eternity passes away Just to spend them with you If I could make days last forever If words could make wishes come true I'd save every day like a treasure and then, Again, I would spend them with you But there never seems to be enough time To do the things you want to do Once you find them I've looked around enough to know That you're the one I want to go Through time with If I had a box just for wishes And dreams that had never come true The box would be empty Except for the memory Of how they were answered by you But there never seems to be enough time To do the things you want to do Once you find them I've looked around enough to know That you're the one I want to go Through time with He was also one of my favorite. Jazzmoose
Didn't care for him at the time, but the older I get the more I appreciate him.
Soul Stream
Always dug him and still do. One of those artists you forget how much you like until you hear him. A shame 70's radio formats have seemed to forget him.
Dan Gould
Headed to Borders, coupon in hand, but they didn't have the Fathead CD. Decided to take a chance on Have You Heard Jim Croce Live. With the coupon, it was about $11 ... and a very well-spent $11. A lot of his music works even better with just the two accoustic guitars and his voice (though I have to admit the barrelhouse piano really helps make "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown"). The only thing missing is "I've Got a Name" which is disappointing but what can you do? Highly recommended to his fans.
