Brad Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Dusty Groove (the you-know-whats) has this listed. Any views? Quote
JSngry Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 This view looks pretty good to me! More "tales" like this, please! Quote
jazzbo Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 If you like the Blue Note material, you'll like this. It's not quite as good in my opinion, but it's along the same lines. Quote
Brad Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 I actually don't have the BN material but I do have the Sunday Afternoon at Smalls Paradise. Voila! Quote
JohnS Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 More a set of amusing and entertaining monologues. Tasty, cool backing from James Moody, Kenny Burrell, Peck Morrison and Roy Haynes. Quote
jazzbo Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Well, if you have the Smalls and the Voila Fresh Sounds, you should get this! And there is a Classics out under Babs' name that has most of the Blue Note cd's material and if I'm remembering correctly a few items not on that one. . . .That's great stuff! Quote
