brownie Posted February 21, 2005 Report Share Posted February 21, 2005 There was a book on DSM 'Jazz Graphics - David Stone Martin' by Manek Daver that was published in Japan back in 1991. I made the mistake of not getting a copy of the book when it was available. Got Manek Daver's second book 'Jazz Album Covers, The Rare and The Beautiful' after it came out several years later. I have his "Jazz Album Covers" book [also a Japanese import]. It is indeed very good. Strange [not really] that an important American graphic artist doesn't have a decent folio dedicated to his work.
