Jazz Kat Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Happy Birthday Wes! I found out farily recently, compared to how long I have been listening to Wes that he died at such an early age. There is actually footage of him appearing on The Hollywood Palace, weeks before he died in 1968. I think he preformed Windy from one of his current A&M albums at the time. Herb Alpert hosted the show, and Brazil 66, Baja Marimba Band, Liza Manelli, Boyce And Hart, Burt Bacharach were also on the show. I own the tape. Quote
