CJ Shearn
what is the bar length of this tune? the A section seems really long.
Free For All
Just finished listening to it. It does have an interesting form, doesn't it? The beginning of the A section (specifically the use of the parallel minor-major 7th chords) is IMHO reminiscent of Nica's Dream. The way I hear it the form is: A (24 bars) A (24 bars) B (8 bars) A (24 bars) ....making it an 80 bar tune.
Rooster_Ties
Just finished listening to it. The whole thing?? Wimp. Would've taken b3-er only 4 bars, or so I've heard told.
Free For All
Wimp. I believe the appropriate term is "wussie". b3-er I believe the specific member you refer to is Jazz Kat. "Jazz Kat"- poor kid can't even spell, god bless 'im. Oh well, if you can't beat 'em...... Phree Phour Aughl
Jim Alfredson
Just finished listening to it. The whole thing?? Wimp. Would've taken b3-er only 4 bars, or so I've heard told. Hey, don't drag me into this!!!

Rooster_Ties
Wait a minute......b3-er is Jazz Kat, isn't he? I just miss the guy who was just like Aric, only with a British accent. Or so I've heard told.
Free For All
OOPS. Done got it all misremembered wrong. Thanks for keeping me honest!! Not that Jim wouldn't have figured it out in 4 bars, of course.

CJ Shearn
24 bars huh? I counted 20 something, I was off by four.
Dave James
Jim's analysis is, of course, more organic. Up over and out.
