BruceH
I was actualy listening to BLUE SOUL when I thought of asking this question. How is THE BIG SIX?? Big Six is great. Real nice sound to it, good arrangements, good playing. I don't think I've ever heard a bad performance by Fuller. Any of his sideman dates are probably worth getting just for him (although admittedly he is one of my favorite trombonists). I personally think the Mosaic box is a must----don't worry, you can stop there.
Late
Any love for Fuller's Prestige work? (Guy mentioned New Trombone above.) I'm just about to pull the trigger on With Red Garland.
Spontooneous
A quick plug for his sideman work on Blakey's "Ugetsu" on Riverside. And a second for the "Fire and Filigree" LP.

Late
How did this thread get resurrected after 1 1/2 years? I asked about Fuller's Prestige work. (And I like trying to find pertinent "old" threads rather than creating a new one. B-) )
