Guest che Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 It's the cake of pies. Or vice-versa. Again, vote your conscience! You are posing some very difficult, and in my present state, painful questions B-) The children of the revolution will accept nothing but pies Che. Quote
JSngry Posted March 5, 2005 Author Report Posted March 5, 2005 Marie Antoinette would probably go along with that, in retrospect. Quote
Dave James Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 I'll go for pie, but only if ice cream is available. Otherwise, cake. With regard to varieties, on the pie side, I'd opt for Strawberry Rhubard with vanilla soft ice cream. On the cake side, devil's food with that gooey butter cream frosting and maybe some chocolate sprinkles. My Lordy me...does that sound good. Up over and out. Quote

JSngry Posted March 5, 2005 Author Report Posted March 5, 2005 Cake. As in "Let them eat..." I know to what it actually referred, but, being a poll about Pie vs Cake, historical accuracy was allowed to take the back seat to an easy joke. It's The American Way! Quote
