He doesn't have a lot of opportunities to solo, but he is present throughout in the background. This is much more of an inside affair, however, compared with his recent playing with Marshall Allen. relyles Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I have it and enjoyed it - particularly Mateen's playing throughout. Not as structured as Gonzalez' NY Midnight Suite, which was released around the same time, but strong playing by everyone. Quote
