Sundog Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I recently heard a really slow vocal version of Night In Tunisia with Sarah singing. Anyone know what album this is on? It might alternatively be called Love Interlude. Allmusic was no help. Thanks in advance. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Without thinking, must be the Musicraft side. Quote
medjuck Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 (edited) It's called "Interlude". First issue Continental 3006. Recorded New year's eve 1944. It's on some Dizzy compilations I think, but coincidentally i just got it on a cheap Sarah Vaughn compilation called "It's Magic"-- which I got because it contains 2 tracks with Freddy Webster. Spontooneous Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 The "Interlude" side is also on Classics 958, Sarah Vaughan 1944-1946. (Along with that great "Mean to Me" with Bird and Dizzy.) Quote
Sundog Posted April 21, 2005 Author Report Posted April 21, 2005 Thanks for the replies everyone. The mystery is solved! Quote
