If anyone's interested in getting a copy of this OOP disk, Dan Plonsey has a few copies left.  Send him an e-mail at:  dplonsey@yahoo.com

He's very reluctant to part with these babies so be prepared to justify your purchase.  Better mention my name.

(I'll have my first listen to this one tonight.)

Yep.

Hate to say it but it's, IMO, missable.

Plonsey opens the album by playing a seven minute solo piece. He then stops, explains that the oboe is a bitch to play and has a limited range, and then suggests to his engineer, Myles "Earl Whacky" Boisen, that they stop recording and regroup. He can then be heard walking from the room.

Next track and, IIRC, most all that follow, Plonsey has decided to accompany himself on "cheap Yamaha synth." It's funny on that second track but gets old real quick.

OH! Just remembered.

Plonsey really doesn't like to part with his copies of this one and asks that if the purchaser doesn’t like it (he warns that it's difficult), that Plonsey be given first opportunity to buy it back.
