I did the beer can chicken yesterday.

First try and it turned out great. I injected the chicken with a little butter and olive oil, and dry rubbed it with some spices.

It took about two hours to cook. I've never seen chicken peel of the bone like that before.

Okay, I checked out my grill, and there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to stand up a chicken under that beat-to-hell lid. Can I do beer butt Cornish game hen?

Barbecue plans fell through this weekend, so the chicken's going over the coals tonight! Can't wait for that first "oops" grill blister...

Sure, just use a Red Bull instead. That might be interesting...... :bad:

I bought a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker for my father-in-law to be. It replaced a 1990 model that was about to give up the ghost.

This grill has its own following online here although their forums aren't nearly as lively as those here. ;)

Okay, I'm a convert! I tried the rub route on chicken this weekend and damn! Fantastic flavor!! And this was my first try with just some shit I threw together (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and salt); I can't wait until I know what I'm doing! :g
