Soulstation1 Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2107572 kwame brown sucks Edited July 14, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote
paul secor Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 As a Laker fan, I'm not thrilled by this. My take on Kwame Brown is that he's just a lazy ass. I guess Phil Jackson feels that he can turn him around. Quote
Noj Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 At least we don't have the logjam at small forward anymore. He and Kobe make a dynamic duo of villains! Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 14, 2005 Author Report Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) one good thing 'bout kwame ............ he is a jazz fan Edited July 14, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote
Noj Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) I didn't know Kwame likes jazz, maybe Abdul-Jabaar will school him on some records! Someone was just mentioning on another board, and I remember it too--he had back-to-back games of 25+ points and 10+ rebounds last season. So, at least he has had a few successful moments (although one of those games was against the Hawks). Edited July 14, 2005 by Noj Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 14, 2005 Author Report Posted July 14, 2005 i wouldn't even trade luke walton for kwame luke has his head on straight Quote
Guy Berger Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 Brown is going to be an underachiever for the rest of his career, but it's not like you guys are giving up a whole lot (or even half a lot) for him. Caron Butler, Chucky Atkins and Devean George are all expendable mediocrities. Guy Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 16, 2005 Author Report Posted July 16, 2005 now floppy divac is hangin' them up thanks for the 5 games last year Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 16, 2005 Author Report Posted July 16, 2005 is lb gonna stay or stiff the pistons? is riles coming back to the heat bench? Quote
Tjazz Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 now floppy divac is hangin' them up thanks for the 5 games last year ← The Laker GM blew it when they signed the Flopper. He already had a bad back. I can see signing him at a bargain price, but they paid him well. Good for Divac, bad for the Lakers. (when they signed/paid him) It's not my money, so I guess I don't care. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 17, 2005 Author Report Posted July 17, 2005 jim can you change my status to "Shaq"-a-teer instead of funkateer thanks ss1 Quote

Soulstation1 Posted September 29, 2005 Author Report Posted September 29, 2005 now, i hear the fakers might get latrell sprewell... him and you know who... together??? it won't work out Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 I'm glad the Pistons passed on Latrell. The Lakers deserve him. Quote
Noj Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 Weird, I can't see why the Lakers would want Latrell. I thought sending Caron Butler away was done to clear space at small forward. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted September 29, 2005 Author Report Posted September 29, 2005 i think it could be more of no one wants to pay latrell what HE wants so they can get him cheap, maybe the $1 mill roster spot Quote
