Jim Alfredson Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Ghost of Miles and Mrs. Ghost of Miles are coming up from Indiana to see us! We should have an organissimo forum hang! Quote
GregN Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Posted August 23, 2005 I keep reading this heading as "organissimo plays in chaps" it is disturbing Jim Quote
ghost of miles Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Organissimo goes WAY OUT WEST? Chap's is a decent restaurant in Douglas, Saugatuck's sister town (smaller, less crowded, prettier IMO). My wife & I hit the Douglas/Saugatuck area about once a year, and we've been waiting for an Organissimo gig in those environs... really looking forward to it! We're going to make sure that we tell the management that we drove 300 miles to see the band. Quote

I have played at Billy's in Saugatuck a few times in the past. I wish you a safe journey. Quote

ghost of miles Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 We're leaving around 11 tomorrow (noon Michigan time). Just got the new CD yesterday and plan to listen to it a couple of times on the way up. Quote
ghost of miles Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Hell of a gig, gentlemen, and a true pleasure to meet and talk with you all. Just sorry that we didn't utter our wish/request for the Sanford & Son theme! Hope to see you in Bloomington sometime soon... to others who haven't seen the band live, just one warning: bring fire-resistant clothing. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 David, Great to meet you and your wife! I'm glad you two chose to come to Saugatuck/Douglas despite the horrific gas prices. Next time, hopefully, we'll meet you in your neck of the woods! Quote
Joe G Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 David, likewise, I very much enjoyed meeting and conversing with the two of you. Hopefully we'll do it again soon. Quote

She had never heard the band before. I said "so how did it go.." And she replied "Oh my god...I.. I... I never would have imagined they would be so incredibly good. I want them back!!" Pretty cool. g Quote

Drop me a PM and I'll try to hook you up with the necessary folks, at least for Jazz Fables. Quote
