Organissimo goes WAY OUT WEST?

Chap's is a decent restaurant in Douglas, Saugatuck's sister town (smaller, less crowded, prettier IMO). My wife & I hit the Douglas/Saugatuck area about once a year, and we've been waiting for an Organissimo gig in those environs... really looking forward to it! We're going to make sure that we tell the management that we drove 300 miles to see the band. ^_^

tell them it was uphill both ways. ;)

Seriously, that is a beautiful part of the state. I have played at Billy's in Saugatuck a few times in the past. I wish you a safe journey.

Hell of a gig, gentlemen, and a true pleasure to meet and talk with you all. Just sorry that we didn't utter our wish/request for the Sanford & Son theme! Hope to see you in Bloomington sometime soon... to others who haven't seen the band live, just one warning: bring fire-resistant clothing. :excited:

David,

I am presently looking for a venue in your neck o' the woods. Any ideas?

I spoke with the owner of Chap's today. She had never heard the band before.

I said "so how did it go.."

And she replied "Oh my god...I.. I... I never would have imagined they would be so incredibly good. I want them back!!"

Pretty cool.

For Bloomington, I would suggest either Bear's Place (the Jazz Fables series on Thursdays) or Player's Pub. Drop me a PM and I'll try to hook you up with the necessary folks, at least for Jazz Fables.
