I've been familiar with this rendition since the days of vinyl, but today it just really all came back. This is ONE SWINGIN' SIDE ! Bunny Berigan, Artie Shaw, Joe Bushkin, Cozy Cole and Pete Peterson all are kickin' behind Billie...and on the strength of this record Pete Peterson can walk his ass off ! Billie is in strong voice - a little hoarseness adding to the effect. She's singing on the beat and swingin' to beat the band. "Swing Song" indeed !
