ASNL77
got my BAsie from Amazon today ....you'll like it. Cheers, Tjobbe ← Did they have it in stock or did you have to wait ten days before your order was dispatched? I ordered the Basie and the Farmer sets a week ago and they haven't been sent yet. I am getting a bit worried.....

neveronfriday
Mine is in Germany and is probably NOT happy. The CDs were immediately removed a) from the box and b) from those stupid double-CD jewelcases that you need a screwdriver for to get the CDs out of sometimes. The box was then stored approximately 10 meters away and hasn't been touched since an evening of intensively reading the enclosed book(let). Hey, I have a reputation to keep. jazzydaddy
Has anyone here in the States ordered from JPC? How are their shipping charges? Any additional charges applied? How long did it take to receive your order? At these prices it's worth considering. I sent them an email al few days ago but haven't received a reply yet. Probably not a good sign. Thanks, Don

Played 2 CDs of each so far and it's been a real pleasure. These are very good Mosaic sets and the Addey mastering is well up to scratch. The sound of the Basie in particular is incredible, considering the age of the recordings.

I do have the feeling that the Basie sounds slightly better than some of the Clef stuff I already have on LPR or VME as single discs. The Jazztet is a must have from my understanding.
