Sun Ra -- Cosmic Tones For Mental Therapy/Art Forms of Dimensions Tomorrow

Of those, the only one I have (or indeed, have heard!) is the Sun Ra, and I like it a lot! I think the former album is stronger than the latter, FWIW.

FWIW, those are two of the most prime '60s Ra sides in my opinion. I like "Cosmic Tones" a hell of a lot, but of course "I" play on the second one.

Sorry -- I'm new to the board. To someone without much exposure on this board, "Miscellaneous Music" would seem to concern music that is not jazz. It should probably be titled differently.

I don't think it's a big deal.

When I joined the board (and before, when I was lurking) I spent some time looking around to figure out where to post new threads (and still goofed it up a few times). I think it becomes fairly self-explanatory quickly. I think the titles work out pretty well, you just need to get acquainted.

Although I don't care where it ends up, I don't think changing something that has worked well for a few years is going to happen; seems to be working well until now .

it's not so much a matter of right or wrong. if you're really looking for opinions on these titles, as you stated in your initial post, then i think the recommendations forum might be a good place to get you're looking for. then again, technically one could say you could go to the "looking for" forum. aaahhh!
