I'd like to buy a few Pink Floyd LPs. Does anybody know which reissues sound good? Which ones are the best and how much should I spend for a decent reissue? Thanks for your help

I can recommend the SACD edition of "Dark Side of the Moon." I've listened to it on both CD and SACD players and it sounds awesome either way. I'm a bit upset at the "new" cover art (I'd prefer to have the original) but the sound is great. I have most of the other Floyd albums on CD, and I think they sound fine. Nothing to write home about, but I have no complaints...

The 30th Anniversary Edition lp of Darkside of the Moon is very good. As for the rest, any used lp in mint condition from around the time of release is going to sound excellent. MSFL's are out there of course, but to my ears, original lps are just as good, and cheaper -- there's millions of them around. Pink Floyd is so cool.
