mikeweil Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) Salvador Dali - egotistical and overrated - he stole quite a bit from Max Klinger, but nobody notices, as Klinger seems to be unknown to most of today's art lovers. Andy Warhol - milking the same idea too often, and very neurotic. Henri Matisse doesn't do much for me - there isn't much that he attempted that Cézanne or Picasso haven't done better. Even the most jaded will come away with at least respect for their power, heart and intelligence. Well, I did - and I didn't ..... Quote
