WAY ex post facto, but how can a year go by without at least acknowledging that one of the world's great jazz festivals occurred.

Had a blast

Will be back next year for my 15th Montreal Jazz Festival in the last 17 years.

Wayne Shorter Quartet

Trio Sclavis, Texier, Romano

John Zorn and the great Chris Potter

They mostly were improvisations, so it's pretty tough to talk about new pieces.
