slide_advantage_redoux Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 I don't know what I was thinking. I actually believed that this clown T.O. was sincere in his statements that he was a changed man, and that he was going to do what he was asked to do when he signed on with the Cowboys. This guy is cancer. Sure he is talented, but he has the maturity of a 10 year old. He seems to think that he is larger than the game itself. If I were Jerry Jones, I would insist that he ride the pine the whole season. I am sure that someone as selfish as Owens is would be driven mad by being kept away from the opportunity to pad his stats. But of course, we all know what will happen. He will play. Quote
BERIGAN Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 I wonder if he will play now...they have a 3 ring circus right now. He clearly has mental issues that will just ruin his career, what's left of it.... Quote
Dan Gould Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 As a long-reformed Dallas fan turned Dallas hater, I laughed when the Cowboys signed T.O and laughed even harder when I heard about the latest shenanigans. Quote
Aggie87 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 What's frustrating is for those of us who are longtime Cowboys fans who don't like T.O. I am still a Boys fan, but hate what he's doing here. It was a huge mistake IMO for Jones to bring him in. The guy has no contrition, and not a sincere, team-first bone in his body. Quote
Big Al Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 This reminds me of when the Rangers brought in Oil-Can Boyd towards the end of the '90 season for what turned out to be a disastrous run towards the playoffs. The guy was a cancer like nothing else the Rangers had ever seen. Quote
