I had one of those years ago (can't remember what title), and I thought it was vintage (a distribution deal done around the time of the original release). Don't know for sure, though...

I have a number of those - they are 1950s pressings. UK Columbia was an imprint of EMI that lasted through to around 1970. The Columbia/Clefs were Clef/Verve recordings issued under licence around the same time as (or just slightly later than) the originals. Other EMI imprints of the time were HMV and Parlophone.

I have several of the Dizzy Gillespie Verves on this imprint.

Indeed Clunky - they can sound quite nice.

From about 1962/63 onwards I think, Verve UK started issuing the Clef/Verve material on the standard Verve imprint. They look pretty much like the US Verves from here-on.
