John B Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 I think this might be a long shot, but worth a try. I have a friend who really wants to hear Esquivel - Merry Christmas from the Space Age Bachelor Pad. Unfortunately, the disc appears to be oop and the least expensive version we can find is currently at $61 on ebay. Does anyone have an extra copy they would be willing to part with for a regular price or have any leads that might help my friend get a copy to listen to? I'm clueless when it comes to music like Esquivel, so any help is appreciated. Thanks! Quote
rostasi Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Wow! I find it amazing that this is OOP - it was on Bar-None, I think and you could find it everywhere last year. I have the disc tucked away somewhere, but I've put nearly all of my Xmas stuff on a few DVDs that I have easier access to. Does this person just want to hear what it sounds like? Rod Quote

I'm amazed too. I would think if John B has access to record/CD stores with decent secondhand Xmas sections, he could still find one for cheap. It's a very short album - less than 30 minutes. It is made up 10 cuts drawn from various sources, along with spoken greetings at the top and end. Quote

Rod I was surprised, as it was released only four years ago, according to AMG. Unfortunately the nearest brick and mortar new / used cd shop is about an hour away from here and doesn't have the greatest selection I've ever seen. Quote
