rockefeller center Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 #5: "Teen Town" Jere Laukkanen's finnish afro-cuban Jazz orchestra, tbc. From the CD " Jere Laukkanene's finnish afro-cuban jazz orchestra" tbc. This is my favorite Teen Town cover so far. Nice to hear musicians using Jaco's compositions to make something funny/new out of it instead of the mere chops oriented/finger acrobatic show offs (M. Miller, V. Wooten, etc. - "Hey, I can slap Teen Town-yawn") Quote
mikeweil Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 #16: "silent night" Decebal Badila (fretless bass) From the CD "Nothing but bass" tbc Turns out it was the perfect blindfold lead-in for Xmas ...... Quote
