This is the second in a series of three Chiaroscuro LPs, in which Joe Venuti and Zoot Sims are playing together. Although Zoot Sims is on four tracks only, there is a lot of other nice things to enjoy, like the two tracks with the legendary bass-sax player Spencer Clark.

This was my introduction to Joe Venuti. It was one of those magical discoveries from the dollar bin.
