He and Barry Harris were among my very favorite piano players then, and have remained so to this day. I feel priviliged to have heard both of these great players live many many times over the years. (Probably the least known item in his discography is an Art Ellefson record I produced, with Tommy on piano, David Young on bass and Barry Elmes on drums.
