brownie Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Unless you're a Grant Green completist, you can live without it! Get Ornette on Tenor instead! That one is a good way to spend your hard earned money! Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 i would never take ornette over GG!!!! Quote
brownie Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 chewy, there are more VISIONS in the Ornette than on that GG! Quote
sidewinder Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I quite like the 'Visions' - although it does have the spaced out vibe and excessive reverb of the time and is far from Grant's greatest (and it is very easy listening/MOR in parts). Got it for about $10 on the Blue/Black Liberty - not sure I'd pay $40. Quote
