chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 HEY GUYS, CHEWY-CHEW-CHEW HERE, any of you ever notice how many garage rock bands in the late 60s covered this song, as originally recorded by KB? it really "crossed-over" if you know what i mean. have any of you heard the more rockin version of it? and why was it such a crossover? in some regards id consider it more sucessful than even sidewinder because when 20 teen garage bands cover it, thats pretty interesting ifyou ask me... Guy Berger Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 Chewy -- the only rock version I was aware of was Stevie Ray Vaughn's (though I don't think I've heard it). Who covered it in the 60s? Great tune! Guy Quote
