Dan Gould Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 kent, thats a w.c.j. label, right? the lp contains to personel or location info....? is this early eddie? Kent is a label owned by the Bihari brothers of Modern and Crown fame among others. They used Kent in the sixties to repackage most of their B.B. King recordings. They were more of a general label, putting out anything that would sell in cheap pressings and jackets. I can't say where they'd have had Eddie Harris material to put out. Quote
DMP Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 I think some of Harris' Vee Jay material surfaced on labels like Kent. Quote
