alocispepraluger102 Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) makes for lousy football and great tv! Edited December 16, 2007 by alocispepraluger102 Quote
BERIGAN Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 reason 2,327 baseball is better than football! What channel is it on??? I have a sinking feeling I am missing this for the Falcons Tampa Bay game.... Quote
alocispepraluger102 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Report Posted December 16, 2007 its on cbs here in ohio. Quote
BERIGAN Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 Weird!!! Here in the ATL, it's all their bad sitcoms for some reason. Like a 2 hour block of them. I'd think football fans would rather see a live game(Even if the outcome is already known) than comedies that must be repeats because of the strike.... Quote
Aggie87 Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 I think every region gets a total of three afternoon games on Sundays. Either 1 early and 2 late, or 2 early and 1 late, on CBS & Fox. You may not be getting the early CBS game in Atlanta because you have the early Fox game, and then will have 1 Fox + 1 CBS game later. Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 Dammit! .....the Pats should have been on down here but they pulled a switch and it's the loser Ravens!! Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 makes for lousy football and great tv! Absolutely! Looks like a great game to be at!!! Quote
T.D. Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 Cool! Buffalo is the default TV team for me. Have had a power outage for a few hours (heavy wind as part of nor'easter), but it just came back on , thankfully. Will check out the game. Quote
Patrick Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 The games you get over broadcast are determined by the market you are in. Despite a pair of AFC games with serious playoff implications (Pittsburgh/Jax and Cleveland/Buffalo) as well as the pursuit of perfection/soap opera of New England hosting NYJ, DC folks were treated to Ravens/Dolphins and Packers/Rams early. This, even though the local Redskins were the night game. Why? Baltimore is a different market and their team is lousy this year--that game should have only been shown in two places (Baltimore--not DC!) and Miami (if it even sold out down there). Turned into an interesting game as Miami took the lead late, lost the lead, and prevailed for their first win of the season in overtime. Still, a terrible game to watch--Boller, Lemon, coaches in short sleeves in December? Similarly, Packers are a good team and Favre passed Marino for career passing yardage, but that game, played indoors somewhere (like a bunch of wussy baseball players ) was not that compelling. Meanwhile, the Cle/Buf and Pit/Jax games were close (and played outside). Quote
Shawn Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Down here in VA beach they play all the Redskins games, but luckily I didn't have to sit through the Baltimore game...they showed the Steelers/Jags game instead. Quote

Shawn Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 It must really suck to go on the road and lose...and then get stuck in the town you just lost in. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 It must really suck to go on the road and lose...and then get stuck in the town you just lost in. It could be worse- they could go back to Buffalo for one of those 28 inch blizzards! Quote
