Van Basten II Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Bought and currently listening The rise and fall of Robby Woo, nice voices but a little longuish and repetitive, about 10 minutes too long. In the lounge department i prefer Pink Martini Quote

Van Basten II Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 In a relatively somewhat similar register, you might get a kick on these girls Quote
Bright Moments Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Posted January 13, 2008 In a relatively somewhat similar register, you might get a kick on these girls got 'em totally different - this girl group goes for the pop sound to wit: "we are the pipettes - prettiest girls you ever met" make sure you get the uk (import) though - the US release pales. Van Basten II Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I bought their first album, Betcha Bottom Dollar, way better than their next album that i commented earlier in the thread. Took a look of the credits and was quite proud that this album involved a few local musician. Among the guys i'm familiar with André Leroux who is a fine tenor sax and Benoit Charest who produced this album. Benoit Charest is mostly famous for his involvment in Quote
Van Basten II Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 Saw them live, last month, very enjoyable and entertaining show, they are at ease on stage and it shows. They have a burlesque thing going that works for them. And yes those girls can sing, they even sang a bit of Ca plane pour moi during the gig Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Dave obviously has too much free time. Quote
Peter Johnson Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Better youtube trawling: Most definitely not puppinis...but loads of circular breathing nonetheless Quote
